Advent 2024
Advent begins December 1, and during this time we celebrate Jesus’ birth and anticipate his return. The sermon series, Born a Child and Yet a King, will focus on the kingship of our Messiah. There are several special services planned to allow us to prepare our hearts for Christmas and celebrate with our church family, friends, and neighbors.

Hurricane Helene Updates
Need help? Able to help?
Hurricane Helene relief efforts are still taking place. Several groups are scheduled to come help, but in order to ensure we can address the needs of those who are already on the list, we have stopped taking new requests using the “Need Help” form. Contact your parish elder or deacon if you have ongoing needs.
One important way you can help is with a financial contirubtion to the First Pres Helene Relief Fund. All money donated will be used to provide assistance to people in the CSRA.
In dependence on God’s power and grace, we desire for our lives to reflect the vision and values of First Pres. Here are some of the stories from our members and our minstries. We pray that these stories will be an encouragement and provide practical examples of ways to be involved in Commending the Greatness of God in Jesus Christ to All Peoples and All Generations.
