Bible Study Groups
Our desire is for every member to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” and to walk in the Word daily (2 Peter 3:18). One way we do this is through Bible study. We have men’s, women’s, and co-ed Bible study groups that meet at various times and locations.
Spring 2023 | John
But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31 (ESV)
Why did we choose the Gospel of John?
Our vision statement calls us to commend the greatness of God in Jesus Christ, and having a strong theological understanding of who Jesus is helps us to do this.
This spring we will study the Gospel of John. In John’s gospel, the divine nature of Christ is unequivocally affirmed, and we find a more developed understanding of the Holy Spirit in this gospel than in any of the other three. The Gospel of John is a wonderfully rich theological work with a Christological framework that helps us know God better. It was written so that, “you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20:31). We hope this study will provide you the opportunity to believe in Jesus in new and deeper ways so that you can grow, together with other believers, in the life he has given you and the joy of commending his greatness to others!
