LILY Moms

LILY Moms is a faith-based ministry that supports and builds community among mothers of children from conception through kindergarten. If you are pregnant with your first child or if your last child is beginning his/her kindergarten year, you are a LILY mom and we welcome you!

2022/2023

This year’s theme is Gather and Grow. At LILY Moms, we aim to gather together women in a similar stage of life and grow together. Grow in community. Grow as mothers. Grow as friends. We are inspired by Hebrews 10:24, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” That is what we hope to do at each meeting — to spur one another on in our journey of motherhood, to help one another grow. We hope you will join us and GATHER with other moms of littles and GROW.

    Registration

Annual registration is $60, or you can pay by the semester, $30 per semester. The registration fee covers local dues and child care. Need-based scholarships are available upon request. For more information about registration, email LILY Moms.

    Why LILY Moms?

LILY is an acronym for “Life in the Little Years.”

It fits us. This season of motherhood is full of messy moments and we are all learning to navigate what it means to raise small children. When we meet, we talk about topics that are related to this stage of our lives. We talk about how to care for our kids. Our homes. And ourselves. We talk about how we can love our husbands well (if we are married—single moms are welcome as well!) We also talk about how friendships look different during this season and how we can make sure that we have vibrant friendships even with spit up stains on our shirts and our eyes stinging from lack of sleep.

LILY Moms is not a Bible study. We will not ask you to bring a Bible or pray out loud. Many of our moms are open to spiritual things, but some are not church goers. That is okay. We welcome you! When we gather, we enjoy brunch. Uninterrupted. We talk to other adults and have a safe place to ask, “How did you get your child to sleep through the night?” Or, “How did you survive having a newborn and toddler?” We talk and connect and learn from others while our children are lovingly cared for down the hall.

LILY Moms, We hope you’ll join us! No one should journey through this season alone.
