Sunday Morning Teaching

9 a.m. —Student Inquirers for 6th Grade via Zoom
9 a.m.—Sunday School for 7th & 8th Grades via Zoom
11:30 a.m.—Sunday School for High School Students via Zoom

Parents will receive an email on Friday afternoon with an invitation for student Zoom meetings.

Letter from D.T. House

Parents,
Thanks for helping us navigate the waters last week as the youth staff sought to continue to provide love, discipleship, and encouragement to your student last week. Moving forward we wanted to make you aware of a few ways we are working to help engage your student:

  1. WE NEED YOUR CHILD’S EMAIL: Here’s the link to the google form. 
  2. Your son/daughter’s small group leader will be reaching out for opportunities to virtually connect in groups via Google Hangouts, Zoom, etc. (Again, please fill out the form above so we can send your son/daughter an email to these groups.)
  3. Make sure to check out our daily devotion that we are doing in collaboration with other PCA churches around the country. Here’s a link for the YouTube channel.
  4. We will have all three Sunday School classes this coming Sunday: 6th grade Student Inquirers Class; Middle School Class; High School Class – We will be sending links and info later in the week for these. 

Pastoral note: I have found great comfort over the last couple weeks in Psalm 121:1-8: ” I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? 2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. 8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”

I pray we take great comfort in the fact that God is not surprised by our present circumstances. God is still ruling and reigning on the throne of grace and cares deeply for His people. May lift up our eyes in the coming days and weeks and lift them up often.
