Urgent Need to Help the Ministry in Cusco
We had a live-update from Nathan Henson (director of La Fuente medical clinic) at this past Sunday’s Missionary Prayer Hour. The effects of the pandemic control measures have taken tolls on the: economy (tourism, a lifeblood of the area went to zero); society (very restricted distances people are allowed to go when they leave their home); health care (for example, a bottle of oxygen went from $300 to $3,000 adding to the stress upon medical facilities); and spiritually (church in-person gatherings shut down). The clinic, La Fuente, is so threatened that, despite staff voluntarily resigning or taking minimum wage, it faces a very uncertain future.
A donor has offered to match your donation—and $20,000 remains to be matched. Please consider giving to this ministry with ties to First Pres. A gift of $10, $25, $50 or more will be doubled instantly—and you will be ministering in a very practical way from Augusta. Use the link below to give online.
