With the City, For the City

The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

—Revelation 22:3, 4

Incarnational Ministry—

How to be with your city and for your city through the gospel of Jesus Christ

We are gathering our closest friends and ministry partners to share best practices for reaching our communities with the gospel. The goal is to strengthen and encourage small and start-up churches for outreach and community development. God has blessed us with so much joy in reaching urban Augusta that we want to share it with you. We are not recruiting you to help us do something; we seek a context for helping each other do what we are mutually burdened about. Our particular focus this year will be on Incarnational Ministry—How to Be With Your City and For Your City Through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

To make the conference as affordable as possible, there is no registration fee and refreshments and lunch will be provided free of charge. Stephen Phelan and Russ Kapusinki from Harbor (PCA) in San Diego will share their strategies for reaching a very diverse population. Mike Hearon will describe City Hope Alliance’s resources for churches reaching smaller urban cities. Others will be on hand to provide insights on more specific topics like:  micro-enterprise development, mercy ministry, community development, educational ministry, leadership development, rural ministry, evangelism, discipleship and worship.

We would count it an honor to host you for a grace-focused season of strengthening one another's hands for expanding the Kingdom of God!
