Missionaries
Making disciples among all the nations is the command of our Lord with a promise of his manifest presence (Mt 28:18-20). Through evangelism and discipleship, we endeavor to “present everyone complete in Christ” (Co 1:28). Our style of evangelism is relational, as we seek to stimulate an enthusiasm for the gospel in our people, which overflows to the people they encounter every day. We seek to adorn the gospel’s message with Christ-like deeds of mercy (Mt 9:3-38), by serving others (Mk 10:42-45).
Our willingness to love, give and serve is encouraged by opportunities to minister in a world in desperate need both physically and spiritually. We give financial aid to missionaries and mission agencies locally, nationally and overseas. We hold our annual Bible and Missionary Conference, and pray regularly for our missionaries. We also send teams of our own members to numerous parts of the world for short term mission projects throughout the year. When sending out our short-term teams, we set a priority on supporting the work of our missionaries.
There is a place for you to serve, locally for an hour, a day or a week, or in an overseas opportunity for two weeks or two years or filling a full-time ministry position. As a congregation, we want to be intimately involved in the life and ministry of our missionaries.
