Answering God's call to care for the orphan 

Minus 1 ministry was created to answer God's call to care for the orphan. Currently there are over 147 million orphans in the world. While we understand not all Christians are called to adopt, we are all called to care for them:  Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world (James 1:27). 

Minus 1 will strive to change the lives of these orphans and show them the love of Christ through prayer, finding forever families or foster care, and by providing supplies, resources and financial assistance. We will also strive to provide adoptive families with financial aid, emotional support and encouragement.
