This Youth Ministry exists to restore people and rebuild places with the gospel of Jesus Christ as we make disciples of our covenant youth and their friends.
Spaghetti Lunch and Dessert Auction Fundraiser,
June 5—Purchase Tickets Now
The Youth Ministry will hold its annual spaghetti lunch and auction on June 5 to help fund youth missions efforts this summer. Seatings will be at 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Hall. Tickets for the lunch and auction are $5 in advance or $6 at the door. The youth staff will also be selling tickets Sunday, May 22, before and after morning services. Come enjoy a great lunch in the company of friends and support the youth as they prepare to go Nicaragua this summer!
Upward Bound at Carowinds, June 13—Register Now
All middle school students are invited to go to Carowinds on Monday, June 13. The cost is $40 and covers ticket and transportation. Middle School In-Town Mission Trip, July 12-15—
This year’s middle school summer missions trip will be held in-town as an opportunity for our students to learn to love and serve our neighbors and city. Our team will help to restore people and rebuild places in the city through various work projects and service opportunities. Applications for the trip are available online here. The cost is $115 per person, which includes all meals, activities, and lodging. Please email completed applications to firstname.lastname@example.org by the May 29 deadline.
The Edge, June 20-24—Register Now
The goal of The Edge is to clearly communicate the truth of the gospel and create amazing memories for our students with Christ at the center of those memories. The Edge also seeks to create Christ-centered relationships between students, as well as between students and leaders. The cost is $350 and the registration deadline is April 21.
Folly Beach Discipleship Trip, June 6-10—Register Now
The high school Folly Beach discipleship trip will be June 6-10. This annual retreat focuses on different aspects of Christian discipleship. This year’s theme is “The Marks of a Christian.” Turn in your registration deposit of $50 by April 25 and receive the early bird special of $235. The cost after April 25 will be $260. Weekly Upward Bound and High Life meetings give students the opportunity to worship, play and hear the gospel together in a safe and encouraging environment.

2015-16 Discipleship Groups
Discipleship groups are for students in seventh–12th grades. They are grouped based on gender and age, and placed with an adult leader who will lead and shepherd them. These groups address three big needs in the life of a follower of Jesus:
- Discipleship—growth in students’ relationships with Christ;
- Fellowship—growth in students’ relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ; and
- Evangelism—growth in students’ relationship to the world in order to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Discipleship groups for seventh–eighth grades meet at the church every Sunday beginning September 13.
Discipleship groups for ninth–12th grades meet at the the church every other Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., beginning September 16.
Registration for all students is required.
