About Gary and Robin Alward
Gary and Robin Alward have been on staff with Campus Outreach since 1992. About Moe and Git Montenegro
Moe and Git Montenegro were married in May 2001. Moe is an American citizen of Filipino background who moved to the US at the age of 8. Git was born in Thailand and grew up in Bangkok. They both became Christians through the ministry of Campus Outreach. Now they minister to university students at Khon Kaen University. Their purpose is to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to Thai students giving them an opportunity to hear the gospel clearly and see it lived out in front of them. Their vision is to see Thai students trust in Jesus for their lives and grow in knowing him and making him known. The Montenegros are involved in evangelism and discipleship relationships. Git also does translation work for the team. They have two children: their son, Sam, was born on November 18, 2004, and their daughter, Rae, was born on June 1, 2007.

Recent Baptisms

Praise God for the 27 people who were baptized on August 22! Fifteen of these are Khon Kaen University students and most of them came to know Christ in the last year. In order to be baptized, students must tell their parents that they have decided to follow Christ. This often leads to persecution and conflict, so this picture is a testimony to God's power and grace working in the lives of Thai people.
Prayer Requests
Gary and Robin Alward
Pray that God would do a great work in the young believers in Thailand. In 2 Timothy 1:7 the Scripture says "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline." In light of this verse, pray that the Alwards would be bold and know the love of Jesus.
Moe and Git Montenegro
Pray for a continual deepening or their walks with Jesus.
